The purpose of the Metro Bowhunters Resource Base (MBRB) is to provide a safe, efficient and cost effective deer removal alternative for urban deer management by means of a qualified and well-managed archery program. MBRB has been involved with deer removal efforts and has been working closely with municipalities and other governmental units in the seven County Metro Area since 1995. MBRB has successfully and safely removed over 2000 deer from the Metro area since it’s inception. MBRB does not charge for its service. We have over 500 qualified archers from all over the Twin Cities Metro area who are available to help you with your deer removal problem.

Before contacting MBRB please have the following information ready:
- Number of properties to be hunted.
- Location of the hunt(s).
- Approximate size in acreage involved for each hunt.
- Proximity to residential areas.
- Approximate size of deer herd on the property.
